Cookie policy
This site keeps things light: a couple of essential cookies, no advertising trackers. Here is exactly what is stored, why, and how to change your mind.

What cookies are
Cookies (and similar technologies such as local storage) are small pieces of data stored in your browser. Essential ones are needed for the site to function; everything else requires your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25 TDDDG.
Essential — always active
- ek-cookie-consent (local storage) — remembers your cookie choice so the banner does not reappear. Stored until you clear it.
- Hosting and security cookies set by the hosting provider to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Session duration.
Optional — only with your consent
Parts of this site embed content from other providers. Once loaded, those providers can set their own cookies:
- Calendly — the booking widget in the coffee chat section
- Substack — the Escape the Ordinary newsletter signup
- YouTube (Google) — the embedded TEDx talk
I do not use advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking cookies, and I do not sell any data.
Managing your choice
You can update your decision here at any time, or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may break parts of the site.
For the wider picture of how your data is handled, see the privacy policy.
